What BIASDLE stores
Without an account: your game progress, Records, language and player preferences are stored in your browser on that device. BIASDLE also uses an anonymous random browser identifier and session identifier for aggregate site analytics.
With an account: BIASDLE stores the account identifier needed for sign-in, your email address and your BIASDLE Records so they can be restored or synced.
Anonymous analytics
BIASDLE collects limited gameplay and usage events so the site can understand how it is being used and improve the game. This can include page views, challenge starts and completions, wins, attempt counts, guesses, skips, shares, Records opens, audio plays and errors, ad-slot views, broad device type, browser family, interface language, browser language, broad referral category and an estimated country derived from browser locale or timezone.
Gameplay analytics are associated with randomly generated browser and session identifiers rather than your name or email. Country analytics are country-level only; BIASDLE does not store GPS coordinates, city-level location or precise location in its gameplay analytics, and it does not link the anonymous analytics identifier to your BIASDLE account. Browser Do Not Track is respected by the BIASDLE analytics script.
Advertising and consent
BIASDLE uses Google AdSense for advertising. Google may process device, browser, network, consent and advertising information to deliver, measure, personalise where permitted and protect ads. Where required, Google's consent-management tools are used so visitors can make advertising choices. BIASDLE does not sell personal information to advertisers.
Sign-in and email
You can currently sign in with Google or email. Google handles the Google sign-in process. BIASDLE only requests the basic information needed to authenticate your account. Supabase provides the authentication and account database, while Resend is used to deliver authentication emails.
Support contributions
If you choose to support BIASDLE, the Support page sends you to Ko-fi. Ko-fi and the payment provider you select, such as Stripe or PayPal, process the payment. BIASDLE does not directly collect your card number, bank credentials or payment password.
Depending on what you provide and the payment method used, Ko-fi may make information such as your supporter name, email address, message, contribution amount, payment status and transaction details available to BIASDLE for administering support. Payment providers may independently process additional identity, billing, fraud-prevention and transaction information under their own privacy policies.
Bug reports and contact requests
If you submit a bug report, feedback, privacy request or rights request, BIASDLE may store the category, your description, the current challenge where relevant, basic browser/device information and any contact details you provide so the request can be investigated or answered. Do not include passwords, payment credentials or other unnecessary sensitive information.
Services BIASDLE uses
- Cloudflare for domain services, hosting, delivery and network protection.
- Supabase for optional accounts, authentication, cloud-saved Records, admin data, song-verification data, bug/contact submissions and private aggregate analytics storage.
- Resend for authentication email delivery.
- Google for Google sign-in, Google AdSense advertising and consent-management services.
- Apple's iTunes Search API to locate and verify playable music previews, artwork and related release information.
- Ko-fi for optional supporter contributions.
- Stripe and PayPal as payment options that may be used through Ko-fi.
These providers may receive ordinary network and technical information required to deliver their services, such as an IP address, browser information, request metadata or security information. When you follow outbound links such as Apple Music, Spotify or Ko-fi, the destination service's own terms and privacy practices apply.
What BIASDLE does not do
BIASDLE does not sell your personal information, publish your account details or require an account to play. BIASDLE does not ask for your phone number, contacts or precise location for normal gameplay, and it does not directly store payment-card or bank credentials.
Deleting your account
You can delete your BIASDLE account and cloud-saved Records from the Account panel. Records already stored in your browser remain on that device unless you clear the site's browser data separately. Clearing BIASDLE site data also removes the anonymous analytics identifier stored in that browser. Information held independently by third-party services such as Google, Ko-fi, Stripe or PayPal is governed by those services.
Data retention and security
Cloud Records are kept while your account exists so the sync feature can work. Anonymous analytics and operational records may be retained to measure site performance, reliability, abuse prevention and trends. Support, bug-report or contact records may be kept for as long as reasonably needed to administer or respond to them. BIASDLE uses access controls intended to keep individual cloud Records private to that account and admin-only data restricted to the private admin system. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
Changes to this page
This policy may be updated while BIASDLE is in beta and as features, providers or data practices are added or changed. The date at the top will be updated when meaningful changes are made.
